Sitting on my ass watching TV for 3 hours every night is okay. Sitting on my ass playing Eve every few nights is frowned upon in this establishment. I hate to break it to my wife but frankly the narrative is better in EVE and my lamest story about EVE is like Chaucer compared to drivel she watches on TV.
Back to you OP. If you had 9 lives, you done gone and spent them all. Enjoy your lucky break becuase you and I both know its just that. A break. In EVE everyone's clock strikes midnight eventually. And get the missus her own laptop.

I never expect anyone to value what I value as a hobby. But I except them to respect the choice I make. Being a good provider, father, husband, is in fact possible while at the same time devoting time to a hobby.
Baseless assessments of someone else while they merely attempt to make light of a frustrating albeit humorous situation is not only pointless and adds nothing to the dicussion at hand but instead it makes you come of as a wanker.

Based on this solitary post and your fundemental lack of anything resembling a point I would say the answer is obvious and therefore the question rhetorical. You are in fact, as it pertains directly to the thread in question and the discussion at hand, a wanker of the highest order.
